HSBC Treetop Walk

Sighted en route to the treetop walk: a plantain squirrel (Callosciurus notatus). We were quite surprised to find it resting on this horizontal branch at dusk, a time when many animals are active. Though this species of squirrel is reportedly diurnal, this individual seemed to have already started resting before nightfall.
